WILD CARD UPDATE:
Linda Goodman, tournament director, has awarded a qualifying draw wild card to 2012 New Trier graduate, Jared Hiltzik of Wilmette, Illinois.
Jared had a very successful freshman year at Illinois with achieving the National Ranking of No. 31. He compiled a 29-11 record while playing the number 1 position as a freshman. Hiltzik was the only player who beat Blaz Rola of Ohio State. Jared was awarded Big Ten Athlete of the Week 3 times, also awarded Big Ten Freshman of the Year award to conclude the season. Just recently, in the NCAA tournament, Jared beat number 22 in the country to get into the second round of the tournament.
